Project Description
Cape Romain Contractors renovated the existing lower slope face and lower terrace of the existing shoreline protection stone revetment previously installed along the western shoreline of the historic Battery Pringle Earthworks. The project was entirely a floating operation as no land based equipment was permitted on the earthworks. The crews moved 700 tons of SCDOT class A, B, C, and D riprap via barge to the project site to complete the work.
