Project Description
Cape Romain Contractors is working as a subcontractor for Banks Construction Company to construct two new highway bridges as part of the Clements Ferry Road Widening Project. Cape Romain will begin construction in Summer of 2022 with the bridge over Martens Creek. This bridge will be a three span AASHTO type II girder superstructure founded on cast in place concrete caps and 20 inch diameter steel pipe piles. The second bridge at Unnamed Creek will be a three span flat slab superstructure bridge founded on cast in place pile caps and 20 inch diameter steel pipe piles.
